Dinner at the little island in Naoussa
Enjoy dinner at the little harbour in Naoussa

The cute village of Naoussa is the best spot of island for the visitors who wish to enjoy a traditional meal. All around the unique harbour of Naoussa the visitor can find a lot of greek restaurants ('tavernas') serving fresh-fish and local specialities.
Fishermen at Naoussa's harbour The majority of the workmen here are fishermen who feed the village's tavernas with a pretty wide variety of delicious seafood every day. You have only to select your place in one of the harbour's tavernas and enjoy a rich dinner.
A typical menu includes sun-dried salty fish or octopus cooked on coals, stuffed vine leaves ('dolmades') and cheese pies accompanied by ouzo (the national aperitif with the characteristic taste) or one of the tasteful local wines.
