Agios Georgios of Argirades beach

The wide long sandy beach of Agios Georghios of Argirades, in front of the homonymous beautiful tourist resort at the southern part of the island, is situated at a distance of 32 kilometers southeastern to the town of Corfu and 5 kilometers western to the village of Argirades.

The beach (awarded with a blue flag) is more than 5 kilometers long and it is extremely popular, especially during the peak period of summer.  The sea is crystal clear and sometimes it looks like a mirror. Due to the shallow water, Agios Georgios beach is very safe and suitable for little children.

Access from the capital (Corfu, 32 kilometers) is possible by rented or private cars and motorbikes.
