It is an ideal beach for families with small children, because it is well protected and shallow enough
which makes it popular for families with small children.
Apart from some facilities for swimming, sunbathing (sun beds, umbrellas, showers and toilettes) and sea sport activities, you have also the possibility to rent a small boat and sail to the nearby beaches and the small islets of the area.
You may park your car park just beside the beach. An interesting tip is that the sand does not soil the cars; in Corfu even the sand is kind with the visitors!
For a snack, coffee and refreshments you will also find some beach bars.
Access from the capital Corfu, 40 kilometers far away, is very easy by rented or private car and motorbikes. |
