No accommodation facilities are offered at the beach. However, you will find excellent food in the sea front traditional taverns of the beach.
You will enjoy swimming at the very clean, pebbly beach with crystal clear sea that deepens steeply, within a very peaceful environment. The beach is not organised, but the taverns offer some sunbeds and umbrellas. As it is found far from the road, the ends of the beach are suitable for families with small children.
In case of health problems the Medical Center of Kassiopi (some 12 kilometers at the Northwest) and health amenities of the town of Corfu (28 kilometers at the South) are available.
Access from the capital (Corfu, 28 kilometers) is easy by taxi and rented or private car and motorbikes. You will leave your car at the parking and descend the steep path on foot; the distance is short enough. If you prefer more scenic access, you may reach the beach from the sea, as the small wooden wharf can accept small boats and yachts for a short mooring. |
