Barbati beach, Corfu |
| The long, well-organised beach of Barbati is situated at a distance of 20 kilometers far from the town of Corfu at the North, close to the homonymous tourist resort. It is a pebbly beach awarded a blue flag. Barbati beach, with fine pebbles and crystal clear water, it is very well organised and you will enjoy swimming and sunbathing facilities (sunbeds, umbrellas) as well as facilities for sea sports. And, if you feel like, you may rent a boat for a tour around. |

| Accommodation is available within the settlement and in the broader area. Food is abundant and gorgeous in the taverns of the area, where you may taste the local dishes, as well as fresh fish and sea food, but also typical dishes of Greek cooking and enjoy the wonderful view of the mountain Pantokrator. You will also find some snack bars for light meals and refreshments. In case of health problems a local Medical Center is available in Cassiope (some 19 kilometers at the North); you may also address to the Health services and amenities of the capital Corfu (20 kilometers at the South). Access to Barbati from the capital (Corfu 20 kilometers far away) is easy by public buses (the green ones), by taxi and by rented or private car and motorbikes. You will reach the beach after you have walked for a few meters on the small path.
