Gardenos Beach, Corfu |
| The long sandy beach or Gardenos is found at the Southeastern coast of the island, at a distance of 41 kilometers southern to the town of Corfu and 9 kilometers southeastern to Argirades. The area around is wonderful; wild nature and a small scenic brook with fresh cool water. |

| Accommodation is possible in lodgments scattered around on the beautiful low hills. Some excellent traditional taverns offer gorgeous food and dishes of the Greek kitchen.
You will enjoy swimming at the long beach with the golden sand and the crystal clear blue water, within a scenic and peaceful environment. In case of health problems you should address to the local Medical Center of Argirades, 9 kilometers far away at the Northwest. Access from the capital (Corfu, 41 kilometers) is easy by rented or private car and motorbikes. If you prefer more scenic access, you may reach the beach from the sea, as the small wooden wharf can accept small boats and yachts for a short mooring. |
