Very well organized, it is one of the most popular beaches of the island. It has a shallow sea, which makes it suitable for small children, but sometimes it gets wavy and then you should be very careful, especially when you have children with you.
It is an outstandingly clean beach, with litter bins everywhere, with showers and changing rooms and ashtrays at the umbrellas. Some snack bars for a light meal and refreshments are available on the beach and you can enjoy eating and drinking while you admire the rocks, full of trees and vegetation, overlooking the sea.
You will enjoy very much swimming and sunbathing, taking advantage of the full facilities (sun beds and umbrellas) of the well-organized beach along with water sports.
Access from the capital (Corfu, 16,5 kilometers far away) is possible by public buses (the green ones) running frequently, by taxi and by rented or private cars and motorbikes. You arrive at the parking via the public road and you reach the beach after walking for a few meters. |
