Kavos, Corfu |
| Kavos is a long (more than 2 kilometers) sandy beach, in front of the homonymous very popular tourist resort, situated at a distance of 49 kilometers southeastern to the town of Corfu and counts some 850 permanent residents. |

| You will certainly enjoy swimming at Kavos beach. You will find facilities for swimming and sunbathing, as well as sea sport facilities, including a diving center both for beginners and for experts. The shallow sea and the sand make the beach ideal for families with small children. Some snack bars for a light meal and refreshments are available on the beach, where you can enjoy your coffee or you drink having an excellent view of the opposite coast of Epirus. |

| Access from the capital (Corfu, 49 kilometers far away) is easy by public buses (the green ones) with regular service and by rented or private cars and motorbikes (the latter being the best for touring at Corfu, if you are alone or a couple). |
