It is worth visiting the cape of Kommeno, to admire the marvelous view of the sea and the scenic homonymous small peninsula. Once there, don’t miss to see the small church of Ypapanti, situated on a small islet linked with the rest of the island through a narrow strip of land.

There are many choices for food in the sea front taverns, restaurants and snack bars, where you may taste excellent fresh fish and a variety of gorgeous local dishes, as well as of Greek and European taste. Swimming is possible at the beaches of the settlement and of the broader area.
In case of health problems, the health services and amenities of the town of Corfu (12 kilometers far away) are available. Access from the capital (Corfu, 12 kilometers far away) is possible by public buses (the blue ones) with regular service, by taxi and by rented or private cars and motorbikes.
