Molos beach, Corfu |
| The sandy beach of Molos is found at the Southeaster coast of the island, at a distance of 47 kilometers far from the town of Corfu at the South and 6 kilometers northern to Lefkimmi. The beach has shallow and safe sea, suitable families with small children. Several sea front taverns offer fresh fish and local dishes. |

| An alternative for swimming is to visit the area of the old saltpans and the small church of Aghios Ioannis, very close to Molos at the East; there is also a small port sheltering small fishing boats; the whole area is an interesting biotope. In case of health problems, a local Medical Center is available at Lefkimmi. Access from the capital (Corfu, 47 kilometers) is easy by rented or private car and motorbikes. From Melikia, the port of Lefkimmi, you may also catch the ship (with daily service) to Igoumenitsa in Epirus. |
