Hotels and rooms to let are available for accommodation within the settlement and in the broader area. A few taverns with good food are available at the beach and in the village.
Swimming is possible at the sandy beach near the settlement, well enough organised, but not very crowded. The unique drawback of this excellent scenic beach is that access is possible via a short dirt track departing from the village. You may also choose the beaches Almyros, Avlaki and Astrakeri, with better access.
If you feel like wandering around, don’t miss to visit the scenic places of the area, as the cape Drastis, at a distance of 1,5 kilometer northern to the village and the site of Longas, where you will have the chance to take excellent pictures of the sunset.
In case of health problems, a local Medical Center is available at Acharavi, some 15 kilometers eastern to Peroulades. Access from the capital (Corfu, 39 kilometers) is possible by rented or private car and motorbikes. |
