You will enjoy swimming at this beach, but the nearby beaches of Kanouli or Halicouna are also a good alternative. And if you have a boat, you may visit the small skerries of Prassoudia and Pentanissia, not far from the coast.

Accommodation is available in the area. If you are around in August don’t miss the local feast (“panighyri”) in honor of Christ’s Transfiguration, on the 6th of August.

In case of health problems, a local Medical Center is available at Aghios Matthaios, where you will also find a Police Station. Access from the capital (Corfu, 28 kilometers far away) is possible by taxi, rented or private car and motorbikes. Taxis are also available in Aghios Matthaios.
