| Kythera or Tsirigo as it was known in the medieval times is a small island between Crete and the Peloponnese. It has a breathtaking natural environment, scenic beaches and crystal clear sea, small traditional settlements, a lot of sightseeing, as ancient and more recent monuments, monasteries and churches. The hospitable residents welcome the visitors and the tourist facilities offered are good enough. Access is possible both by ship and by small planes. |
