Amboula beach, Zakynthos Island |

The sandy beach of Amboula is situated 10 kilometers far from the town of Zakynthos at the North, 3 kilometers far from the tourist resort of Planos and 3 kilometers eastern to the village of Tragaki. Accommodation is possible in hotels of all categories, studios and rooms to let both at the beach, and in the village of Planos and in the area around. All lodgings are open from the Easter period (April or May) until October. |

Several taverns offering good food are available for eating in the settlements and the beaches of the area; in all of them you may choose from a variety of local dishes and international cooking. Swimming is nice at this well organised beach, where you may also enjoy facilities for sunbathing and sea sports. In case of health problems, you may address to the Health Services of the capital Zakynthos, 10 kilometers far away at the South. Access from the town of Zakynthos is easy by taxi, by rented and private cars and motorbikes. If you have a yacht, or boat, the small port of Planos is available for mooring. |
