Bouka beach, Zakynthos Island |

The sandy beach of Buca, 1,5 kilometers northern to the popular tourist resort of Planos, is situated at a distance of 8,5 kilometers northern to the town of Zakynthos, within the nice and overgrown area of an olive grove. Several hotels of all categories, studios and rooms to let are available for accommodation both at the resort of Planos and at the inland around. Several alternatives are also available at the coast and the small ports and beaches of Planos and Tsilivi. |

You will find many taverns both in the settlements and the beaches of the area; food is good and covers a wide range of dishes and tastes both of local and international cooking. Swimming is nice at this beach, which apart from the facilities available, also offers to the visitor less noise and crowds than the neighboring ones of Tsilivi and Planos. In case of health problems, all Health Services of the town of Zakynthos are quite close (some 8,5 kilometers to the South). Access to the beach from the town of Zakynthos is easy by taxi, rented or private car and motorbikes. You may also come here by yacht; the nearby small ports of Planos are available for mooring of small boats and yachts. |
