Posidonio beach, Samos Island |

The small (only some 200 meters long) pebbly beach of Poseidonio is situated at the southeastern coast of the island, at a distance of some 10 kilometers southeastern to the capital town of Samos. It is a beach with rather shallow, very clean sea and, as it is located within a small cove, it is very well protected from the winds. Accommodation facilities are available both close to the beach and in the broader area at the taverns at the seafront offer refreshments and full meals to the visitors. |

The beach is rather well organized and ideal for a relatively quiet swimming and sunbathing in short distance from the capital; facilities for swimming and sunbathing (umbrellas, sun beds) are available at the beach. For any problem the corresponding services of the town of Samos, some 10 kilometers northwestern to the beach, are available for you. Access from the town of Samos is easy by taxi and by private means (car and motorbikes). |
