The small beach of Psili Ammos is a sandy beach with fine sand; it is also referred to as Chrissi Ammos (“golden sand”), because of the color of the sand. The sea is shallow enough and very clean and, as the beach is found within the bay of Marathokambos at the southwestern coast of the island, it is well protected from the winds. | |
