Eastern to the town of Samos, within the valley of Vlamari and at an altitude of some 110 meters it is situated the monastery of Aghia Zoni, established in late 17th century by the priest-monk Meletios. The church has a wood carved icon screen, a few frescoes and an interesting collection of religious objects.
