Some 2 kilometers southeastern to Ambelos, at an altitude of some 400 meters, it is situated the village of Stavrinides, a small traditional village, named after the name of the first settlers of the place. The village is hidden within a thick wood, with abundant current waters and from there the visitor will enjoy a breathtaking view. Stavirnides counts some 70 permanent residents.
