The Aegean Sun Hotel is located at the beach of Agios Isidoros, a few hundred meters near the city of Plomari. It is only 50m away from the beach, 41km from the city of Mytilene and the port and 45km from the airport.



The village of Plomari provides a big variety of cafes, clubs, restaurants and tavernas. It also has a big market where you can find traditional products of Lesvos Island.

Directions

There is a bus daily, going to Mytilene and the other villages. The buses start from the central square. You can also take a taxi from the square in front of the park. If you are far from that spot you can call at 22520-33331.

SIGHTSEEING:

The Cathedral which is a triple-aisled basilica, is dedicated to St. Nikolao. 

The church of Agia Paraskevi at the entrance of the town 

The church of Prophet Hlias at Plomari's higher spot. Also beautiful is the church of Agia Magdalini inspired of the temples of the Bizantio. 

The building where Plomari's High School is located, Xatzidimitriou’s house, the old plane tree which was planted in 1813 in the old neighborhood where the mansions were located. 

The folk art and the ecclesiastical museum where you can find clay idols, coins, traditional costumes etc as well as the museum of ouzo which is located in the Barbagianni’s distilleries. 

Polikentro an old soap factory of great architectural importance and an exhibition of the way soap was produced and the local history. It took its name from the great teacher of the Nation Veniamin o Lesvios.
