Description

The Hotel Malia Studios Apts is famous for its attractiveness, it is built in the traditional Cretan architecture, it offers all the modern comforts and it was renewed radically in 2003. It is situated across the sea, only 150 metres from the sandy beach, with sea view, in a quiet place and in a distance of 400 metres from the centre of night life.



It is located 30 km away from Heraklion City, from airport, from port and Knossos.



Next to the hotel and in a 50 metres distance, there are Super markets, taverns and ATM.



All the apartments are designed and furnished in the Traditional Cretan style and have their own air conditioning (cool-heat) facilities, safebox, babycots on request, and a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, cooker and coffee-pot.

Studio - suitable for 2 persons with a double bed (or two single beds) in bedroom, a kitchen corner, WC/shower, balcony or ground terrace with sea or garden view.

 

2-3.

Apartment suitable for 3 or 4 persons with a bedroom (2 single beds) and 1 or 2 permanent couch beds in lounge. Also a kitchen corner with small living area, WC/shower, ground terrace or balcony with sea or garden view.

 

4.

Maisonette (2 storied apartment) suitable for 3 or 4 persons. In the ground floor is the living room with 2 permanent couch-beds, an open kitchen, a WC/shower and upstairs a bedroom with a double bed (or two single beds). Each 2 storied apartment has 2 ground terraces with sea or garden view.

FACILITIES:

Malia Studios Hotel Apartments has a reception area (open from 8.30 a.m. to 12 p.m.) It offers service, cleaning, sheets changing, car rental and free parking in a distance of 80m.

As a guest, you can use 2 swimming pools, located behind our complex on the way to the beach, in a distance of 100m.

Also enjoy walking on the the 5km long sandy beach, or try the local delicacies in one of the taverns located near the hotel.

In a case of emergency, there are 2 Medical Centers close to us.



In the garden there is an outdoor area with SAT TV and BAR that's a cool meeting and relaxing place with a particularly pleasant atmosphere.

EXCURSIONS:

Start your sight-seeing tour around the island by visiting the traditional villages of Krasi, Mochos, Koutouloufari, Piscopiano and Old Hersonissos. Spectacular views, narrow streets and beautiful well preserved old houses will astonish the visitor at every step. Not far from Malia there is also the Lassithi plain, a large upland plain at an altitude of about 850 m, surrounded by the Dikti massif and containing some of the archaeologically most important caves. Between them there is the Diktaion cave - born place of Zeus - at Psychro. 

The palace of Knossos and the archaeological museum of Heraklion, Spinalonga island with its medieval castle, Vai beach and palm forest, Chrissi island with its white beaches and emerald waters are only a few between the numberless places of historical interest or natural beauty that a visitor can explore at the eastern part of Crete.
