The hotel Kinissi Palace is a four star hotel (A Class).
It was built in 1924, by two brothers Aaron and Isaac Sakki. The present modern external structure was designed by two architects, K. Kokoropoulos and A. Zachariadis.
After operating for around 40 years, the hotel closed down in 1960.
In 1995 the hotel's building was classified as historical landmark by the Ministry of Culture and three years later restoration work commenced under the supervision, of the -4th Ephorate of Contemporary and Modern Monuments.
The whole restoration effort was carried out with due diligence and careful attention to detail as to retain the original identity of the building.
With its new name, The Hotel Kinissi Palace, opened its doors and welcomed its first guests on the 30th August 2000.
