Classical Guest Rooms:
All of 56 classical guestrooms are located in three different buildings, either on the ground floor or on the first floor and provide 44 square meters of space offering panoramic view of the Tracian Sea. They consist of a spacious room, working desk, marble bathroom with and luxury amenities. Classical rooms are available with King Size beds or twins.
Deluxe Guest Rooms:
The 39 deluxe guestrooms, located mainly on the main building of the hotel, provide 30 square meters of Space and all of them offer breathtaking view over the Tracian Sea. The décor is contemporary with elegant furnishings, earth tone fabrics, working desk, marble bathroom and luxury amenities.Deluxe guestrooms are available with choice of a King Size beds or twins.
Junior Suites:
The 6 Junior Suites, located in the three buildings of the hotel, consist of a spacious bedroom and sitting area in open plan style with outstanding sea view. Elegantly decorated, with marble bathrooms which feature separate shower cabin, two wash basins and exclusive luxury guest amenities.
Executive Suites:
Located on the first floor of the main building, they occupy 50 square meters of space and consist of one bedroom and separate sitting room with dining room too. Presidential Suite:
The presidential suite, located on the first floor of the hotel’s main building, overlooks the islands of Samothrace, Imvros and Tenedos, and sets hotel’s top accommodation. TRANSPORTATION:
Alexandroupoli is 770 km from Athens and about 350 from Thessaloniki. Easy private or public transportation is available. Daily buses link Alexandroupoli with Athens. Six buses daily do the trip to Thessaloniki. Also, several trains set off daily from Alexandroupolis to Athens and Thessaloniki and vice-versa.
FROM THE AIRPORT:
There are scheduled several flights from Athens to Alexandroupoli Daily. The Airport of Alexandroupoli “Demokritos” is located a few km outside the town. Follow the seaside road and you will reach Egnatia Grand in front of the Egnatia Park. Please do not hesitate to contact the hotel for any further information.
BY SEA:
Daily itineraries link the port of Alexandroupolis with Samothrace and once a week there is a ferry to the islands of the central Aegean and Lavrio. There is also a weekly connection with the islands of the Eastern Aegean and Crete.

EXPLORATION - PLACES TO VISIT:
Evros Delta
About 20 km from Alexandroupolis on the borders to Turkey, the river Evros has shaped an ecosystem of about 200 square kilometres, which is of international ornithological importance. In the wetlands of the Delta 316 types of birds have been recorded, including many aquatic and semi-aquatic species, raptors, herons, pelicans and sea birds. Among them there are also some very rare species, such as the Lesser White Fronted Goose, the Slender Billed Curlew and the Spotted Eagle. For centuries now the Delta of this river has been a vitally important way station in the immigration of aquatic birds in their long journey from Northern Europe to Africa and back again. The rich and rare variety of its life forms, have made it a wetland of international importance, protected by the RAMSAR Agreement.
Dadia Forest
The National Park is located in the heart of the Prefecture of Evros in the extensive forest that covers the southeastern foothills of the Rhodope mountain range. Because the region of Evros is located on the edge of two great zones of flora and fauna – of Europe and of Asia – and on one of the most important migratory corridors for migrating birds, the presence of rare species make the National Park a forest of high ecological value, with birds of prey its star players. Thirty six of the thirty ight species of European birds of prey have been odserved in the region, - eagles,vultures, buzzards, sparrow hawks and falcons wheel above the peaceful and beautiful landscape of this land of Thrace, finding here one of the last safe refuges in all of Europe. The last colony in Greece and the Balkans of the rare Black Vulture is preserved here. With the cooperation of the Forestry commission of Soufli, the Prefecture of Evros, the local municipalities and the Greek World Wildlife Fund, a management and protect program has been put together, which among other things, has as one of its basic aims the active participation of the residents in the preservation of their region’s natural heritage.
Didimotiho
Didimotiho is a beautiful city that welcomes the visitor with its well-kept Byzantine castles and towers. Its traditional part is a remarkable outdoor museum amidst the modern city. Each alley of old Didimotiho is a faithful witness to its noble origins, whispering of king legends, loves and wars.
River Ardas
The riverside drive from Kastanies to Therapio, by the Bulgarian border, is definitely worthwhile. If you enjoy offroad driving, you should visit it.
ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXCAVATIONS:
Visit ongoing archaeological digs at small Doxi Para. The hospitable archaeologist will give you a tour of the unique Roman findings. Return via Didimotiho, with its well-preserved Byzantine fortresses.
Samothraki
The most unique island in the Aegean Sea! Next to ita beautiful beaches and clean seas, you can find varied, untamed natural surroundings, impressive heights, waterfalls and natural “pools”, the famous “vathres” and the Temple of the Great Gods, where the ancient Karivian Mysteries were performed.
Discover the roots of the civilization that gave birth to the Victory of Samothraki, walk in the shadow of Genovese castles, face up to the difficult passages leading to the Feggari mountain peak, the highest point on the island. A single day is too short to get to know Samothraki, but is long enough
to feel its glory.
Makri
Makri village with its seafood taverns, its small port, its archaeological site and the Cyclop’s cave (as the locals call it) is located 12 km away from Alexandroupoli. The cave has signs of usage from prehistoric to Byzantine times, while archaeological excavations have brought to light a neolithic settlement dating from the 4th millennium BC.
Aghia Paraskevi-Meridian Zone
An 8 km coastal zone starts just after the picturesque port of Makri; the coast features beautiful clean beaches, some isolated and remote, and other
organized and busy. The most popular beaches are Aghia Paraskevi and Kyani Akti (Azure Coast), with water sports, bars and taverns, all intended to provide entertainment and good company. Further west, we come to Dikela village and the Meridian Zone archaeological site! The site is well-preserved drainage system, the plaster sections from classical times and the wall section dating from the 6th century BC.

Ethnological Museum of Thrace
The stone neo-classic house at No 63, 14th of May Str., which was built in 1899, is restored and its space is organised in a way to house a priceless folklore collection.
Ecclesiastic Museum
At Alexandroupolis most central point, next to the cathedral, lies the city’s ecclesiastic museum. The museum has been part of the Spiritual Centre of the Sacred Metropolis Building since it was established in 1976.
Historic Museum
In the middle of the city centre, across the Municipality and next to the Military Club, is situated the building of the Historic & Folkloric Museum of the Friends of Antiquity and Cultural heritage Union of Evros Prefecture.
Museum of Natural History
In Platanotopos at the Maistros gorge, the Municipality of Alexandroupolis established the Museum of Natural History, an area for introduction and information on the ecosystems of the broader nation.
Traditional Silk Handworks Museum (Soufli)
The strately building of Kourtidi houses the Museum of Traditional Silk Handcrafts where we have the unique opportulity of following a reconstruction
of all the stages in silk processing.
Soufli Folklore Museum “Gnafala”
