Hotel Minoa, was mentioned by the “THE SUNDAY TIMES” 31/12/98, as the “…best family operated hotel … C-class price, with A-class service…rare enough in Greek A-class hotels.” in their article “Favorite Things”.

The Georgidakis family’s hotel, admired again in 2002, stands right on the beach, at the “better” end, near the harbour, of this holiday resort near Nafplio.

Bedrooms are “well furnished and immaculate”; best (sea-view) ones have views of the nearby islands, (“the moon on the sea is beautiful”). Displaying a standard of tastefulness and design unusual in Greece, the hotel is located at the far end of the village (the road ends in a large free car park).



The restaurant has picture windows overlooking the beach: beautiful in white and blue, it serves tasty, imaginative but inexpensive and uncomplicated food promptly, and in generous portion. The Minoa holds the distinction of being the only hotel in the Peloponnese, listed in the Good Hotel Guide for the 10th(tenth) consecutive year.



The British newspaper, “THE INDEPENDENT”, 12/07/02, voted the Hotel Minoa as one of the “50 BEST Family Friendly Hotels around the World”, in it’s magazine, “THE INFORMATION”.
