Balaskas Hotel is located in Diafani, 300 meters far from the beach and the harbor and 8 Km away from the hilltop village of Olympos, where the real tradition still lives on, in the daily way of life.

The Hotel is situated in a part of the village, which is ideal for a relaxing and peaceful stay. Near the mountain and the sea at the same time. It’s the meeting point of the sea breeze and the mountain’s fresh air and the fragrance of the blooming flowers, from the hotel garden completing the aroma. The beaches are clean and the sea will charm you with its color.

The cleanliness characterize our place, which is consists of 12 spacious, sunny and comfortable rooms (including doubles and singles).

All of them have private bathroom, 24 hours hot water, air condition and balcony, (kithen is optional). The rooms also have a wonderful view to the garden, where you can relax and have your breakfast in the morning and a refreshing drink during the day. They are cozy and beautifully decorated.

Attractions
Olympos and Diafani are two villages located in the north part of Karpathos, which is a Greek Dodecanese island between Crete and Rhodes.
Olympos is built on a hill since the piracy ages. Diafani was created afterwards at the foothill of Olympos, near to the sea.
Here the visitor will make a trip back in time, as he will see the women dressed in traditional costumes and experience the unique way, which they bake handmade bread in their own old wood-ovens. He will take part in traditional festivities and dances and he will follow the narrow paths and see the working windmills and the innumerable little churches which embellish Olympos.
