Description

Sarris Hotel was build in summer 1998 and is runed by Family Sarris. 

The mother, Calliope, is the "clandestine chief" there. Her husband, Michael, does the bookkeeping. Daughter Jenny is working at the reception. Minas, the second son is the waiter, Peter, the first son is the cook. 



The family lived und worked since 1998 in Washington/USA, father Michael was born in Karpathos. Beside the familiary flair an the warm hospitality is to mention that everything in the hotel is very clean and looked-after. The family speaks english and greek, daughter Jenny speaks a little bit german too. In addition you can have here the original karpathian kitchen taste, it reminds sometimes of the italian kitchen and is very good! 



The hotel has 32 rooms. The rooms are very simple and very clean. You can have every day new handtowels if you need. In the rooms are telephones. (please look also at our mobilphone info on our website!) The rooms have no TV's. 



Beside the fair prices (drinks etc.) you feel in hotel like a friend, not as a normal guest!! There is anytime a private, familiary atmosphere! You cannot find any trouble in this hotel, this is a family hotel and will be a family hotel in the future too.

The golden sandy beaches are the best thing Karpathos has to offer: beaches with crystal clear waters which have remained untouched by human activity.  

 

LEFKOS BEACH:  

Lefkos is a wonderful sandy beach in Mesohori, a small fishing village on the north west coast. There are several restaurants nearby that serve good seafood.

FRANKOLIMIONAS BEACH:  

One of the most beautiful beaches in Karpathos, with golden sand and clear blue water.  

 

Karpathos island:

Karpathos is the second largest island in the Dodekanese -after Rhodes. It is situated between Crete and Rhodes, in the Karpathian Sea. The location of the island is strategic since it is the natural bridge which unites Crete with Asia Minor.  



The variety of scenery of the island is unique. The transition from scenery to another and the changes of colours and shapes are frequent and unexpected and never make the visitor feel boredom or monotony. In contrary, high and steep mountains (Lastos, 1215 m. high - the highest in the Dodekanese) compose unique scenery.
