Attractions
At the South side of Peloponnisos, in the deep blue sea, appears the rock with the Byzantine castle of Monemvasia. A small piece of land is the only way which leads into the castle and the only part which combines it with the land, making this way the dream come true. It is the spot where time stays and the Middle Ages meet with Byzantine.

The castle of Monemvasia with the paved narrow streets, the stairs, the age-long plants and preserved Byzantine churches, compose a unique atmosphere for the visitor.
In the old stoned houses, which navadays are converted into taverns, the visitor can taste Greek cuisine and fresh fish, while small marines and clean beaches create an atmosphere full of sun and sea.

The distance from Athens is 300 kilometers and anyone can reach there by road transport, ship of flying dolphin. From Monemvasia the visitor can easily go to Gerakas, Elaphonissos, Kiparissi and Kithira.
