Description
Theophano is a pleasant guesthouse in the old village of Monemvasia and is built and furnished in the traditional Byzantine style. Its spacious apartments consist of a living room, bedroom, with double and single beds, kitchenette and bathroom. There is also a Malvasian fireplace, a little yard and two balconies with a view to the sea and the rock. All apartments are air-conditioned.

The castle of Monemvasia has been awarded for being the most well preserved old settlement in Europe. It was first built in the 6th Century A.P. and was named after the fact that there is only one entrance (= moni emvasi) to the inside of the castle. Enclosed in its walls one finds about 40 churches and many traditional mansions.

Starting from Monemvasia one can easily visit Mystras, Mani, the Diros Cave and many other beautiful places.
