Hotel Amfipolis was built in 1926 and first used by a Tobacco company, until 1938 that was converted to a Hotel which operated until 1985, when a top to bottom reconstruction took place, which lasted, under the best technical guidance until 1987 and since then hotel Amfipolis is placed among the first calss hotels of Greece. 



It has been honoured by guest and professionals. Hotel Amfipolis is situated in the city of Thassos, in the sidewalk. All rooms are equipped with TV, mini-bar, direct dial phones, piped in music, central heating - cooling system.



All amenities are available. Sauna, a swimming pool, open air bar, restaurant. The swimming pool, which is cleaned on a non stop 24 hours basis is always open for hotel guest, where sunbathing chairs and umbrellas free of charge are available. The closest beach is only 150m from Hotel or it is possible for the Hotel guests to be free transferred to the Hotel beach of Nisteri, just 1,8 Km away ( Cafe-Snack Bar, sunbeds, umbrellas, volley are available ).
