Makryammos offers 196 bungalow-style rooms and 10 water-front suites. All rooms with bathroom, terrace and direct dial phone.



Each bungalow belongs to a 5 or 6 bungalow unit built with stone in the traditional thassian style blending with the environment.



All bungalows are ground level, set in elegantly landscaped gardens around the famous Makryammos bay.

Standard Double with bunk bed ...with twin beds (or one double bed) and a bunk bed. Suitable for up to 2 adults and 2 children.  



Standard Family  two separate bungalows with a common entrance, each with its own bathroom and terrace. Suitable for 2 adults and 2 children

Directions

By Air:

The island is served by the International Airport of Kavala. There are daily flights from Athens (50 min).

There also are charter flights to and from major European cities. The airport is 12 km from Keramoti, where ferry-boats can take you to Thassos island in 35 min. Makryammos is located 3 Km away from the port of Thassos Town. The average transfer time from the airport of Kavala to Makryammos is one hour. 



By Car/Ferry:

Ferryboats connect the island with the ports of Kavala (70 min) and Keramoti (35 min). Hydrofoils connect the island with Kavala (35 min).

Sights:

The principal archeological sites are near the old port of Limenas just 2 Km from Makryammos. Within walking distance you can visit the ancient Agora, numerous sanctuaries, the ancient theater and the citadel with the remains of the temple of Athena. The island tour offers splendid possibilities of visiting traditional villages and a variety of beaches within an ever-changing scenery.
