In the north part of the island there is the MARIVA Bungalows at the drop Therma with the medicinal baths. In a distance of 1 km from the beach and 4 kilometers from the noted river "Fonias" (Killer) with the waterfalls. Directions
Go to Therma till you arrive the harbour. There, turn right. Please, don't enter the village, but turn left at the next street. There you will see a sign referring to the Hotel Mariva. Follow the road, until you see and arrive a pub. There, follow to the right and after ca. 200 m - a little up the hill - you arrive at the hotel Mariva.

Attractions
At Samothrace the most spectacular thing is its history, dated 3000 years ago.

The first resident to be mentioned is Saos, the son of a God and a Nympheus.
In the north part of the island during anciently there was to worship of the Great Gods which included rituals a well the Kavery Mystery. The energy of the island is so powerful as its beauty, as the beauty of the winged Nike of Samothrace, that was found in the holy place and is now at the Louvre Museum.

The highest mountain of Samothrace is Saos with the most known top Fengari (moon). Saos rises between sea and the sky at 1664 meter.
Maybe its only Greek island who has many forests of platans that spread into the beach.
