Description

The hotel was built in 1990. The main idea was, the structure to comply with the environment and of course with the dominant architect type of the island. The hotel is managed by the family Raikos. The hotel is located at the south part of the island. It is built on a hill and it has  fantastic view   to the Aegean Sea and the Venetian castle of Chora (the capital city of Kythira island).

Hotel facilities:

The reception building: The first ‘welcome’ in our hotel. Here you can find the Internet Corner. 

Three separate buildings with the hotel rooms and studios.



One  main building by the pool, for breakfast and snack. The bar, the TV area   and the indoors games are located in the same building.



Outdoors pool with small waterslide and water basket. Pool Bar service.

Children’s  playground with mini basketball court.

Kapsali

Well organized beach. Here you have many choices for good food and drink.

Rent a car, bike or motor bike. Mini market  and bookstore in the area.

 

Kaladi 

One of the best pebble beaches on the island. The last 50m down the slope are steps. 

 

Diakofti

That is our port. Very close to it, there is white sandy beach with shallow waters. Very good for children and beach volley players.

 

Aghia Pelagia 

Sandy beach  at the north part of the island. Many good choices of taverns.

 

Paleopolis

Kilometers of sand and pebble beach. Crystal clear and deep water.



Sightseeing:

The watermills and the waterfalls in Mylopotamos village. Very cold swimming in crystal clear water and good walking in the steep bank of the nearby river. 

The monastery of Panaghia Myrtidiotissa. Pilgrimage at the Holly Mother of this island. There is a big traditional feast every year on September 24th. 



The winery in Markesakia village. Guided tour to the small winery. You can taste the different wines and you can buy if you like. Ask to see the old cellar.



WHAT TO SEE:

Art gallery, in an old renovated house in Kapsali. In the summer ,theatrical performances are taking place, in the backyard, at the small outdoor theatre.



Organized boat tours with Spyros from Kapsali.
