Description

Karavostasi Beach Hotel is just 150m away from one of the best beaches on the Ionion coastline (with sunbeds and umbrellas free for our guests), and only 4km from Perdika town.



In the center of the hotel is the picturesque swimming pool, which is suitable for both adults and children. There is a 24hr reception and lounge area with satellite TV and wi-fi internet access hotspot.



Around the hotel the area is mostly farmland, giving visitors the chance enjoy the natural beauty of Greece.

Directions

Many of our European guests enjoy driving to Greece, this sounds like far, but really it isn't, the table below gives distances from some European cities. Many drive non-stop to Venice or Ancona, others prefer to stop over in either Austria or Switzerland and take their time.



There are many ferry companies all offering a variety of services to suit all needs.



The quickest way to get here is of course by plane, our nearest airports are Corfu (CFU) and Prevesa (PVK). From Corfu guests take a ferry across to Igoumenitsa, from there or Prevesa airport we can arrange transfers.



From Igoumenitsa:

Once you disembark, turn right onto the main road, heading in the direction of Prevesa, follow signs to Sivota, this is the more picturesque route. In Sivota turn left towards Perdika, look out for Perdika's many secluded beaches. About 10km follow signs for Karavostasi. 



From Preveza:

Out of the airport turn left. Follow signs to Igoumenitsa, at the town of Karteri (±1hr) turn left following the signs for Perdika, the road takes you up into the mountains, look out for the spectacular views and once you get to Perdika, Karavostasi is signposted.

Attractions

The region of Epirus, on the northwest edge of Greece is perfect for people who want to combine beach and culture. It is well known that this region has the best nature in all of Greece. The combination of green mountains and blue sea is beautiful, inland there is also alot of cultural and historical sightseeing to do. Epirus is shaped by the Pindus mountain range which gradually sweeps down westward towards the Ionion Sea. The highest point is 2600 meters, here is the Vikos-Aoos National Park. Deep valleys such as the well-known Vikos Gorge are crossed by rivers like the Kalama and Acheronta, famed for their natural beauty. 



Epirus is divided into four prefectures Ioannina, Arta, Preveza and Thesprotia. We are in the Thesprotia, here the coastline has a few steep beaches and many large and small bays, this region of Greece is justifiably known as 'Thesprotia of good ports'.



Igoumenitsa is the capital of the region and is today one of the most important harbours, not only in Greece, but also in Europe.
