Description

The villas ARISMARI & ERONTAS are situated at a distance of 22 km from Rethymno in the traditional village of Argiroupolis – the ancient city of Lappa.



The villas have been built at an altitude of 260 m and offer a beautiful view of the green valley of the Mousela River which develops from 10 springs. 

The beach of Episkopi is situated at a distance of 7 km while while the beaches of the South Coast are 28 km away.



The verandas have a view of the sea and are equipped with pergolas and tessellated marble floors as well as stone – built fountains.



The interior of the villas is decorated with marble sculptures and provides beautifully carved furniture, a fireplace , a TV set , stereo hot water and central heating 24 hours, all through the year.

Room facilities:

These 2 houses are new but built all in stone and wood, at the edge of the village, on the slope of the hill, with a dramatic view on the green surroundings that reminds of the Alps.



They both have air condition, satellite tv, stereo, computer with internet connection and heating. They are decorated in a Cretan traditional style. The furniture are new but all handmade.



Erontas house (4-5 persons):

There, the entrance gets directly into the fully equipped kitchen and the dining room. Just at the end of the room, under a stone arch, a small wine cellar is offering its bottles of local wine to the guests. A few stairs lead to a living room with a sofa, an armchair convertible in a single bed and a fireplace. Here again, the double bed and the wardrobe are hidden behind a curtain. The bathroom has a shower and WC. A french window opens on the best veranda of the 3 houses, with a stunning view on the green mountains and the old houses of the village. A few stairs lead from the living room to a Cretan traditional gallery with 2 single beds.



Arismari house (3-4 persons):

The front door opens on a living room with a fireplace, an armchair convertible to single bed and a sofa convertible to bed, while behind the curtain, we find the double bed and the wardrobe. The fully equipped kitchen is set under a stone arch and the seperate bathroom has a shower and WC. A french window opens on a veranda with a nice view.

Attractions

Argyroupolis is situated on a privileged spot, near the natural springs and their lush green vegetation, close enough from the biggest and nicest sand beach of Crete (12 kms long), at only 5 kms from the only lake of the island the Kournas Lake and its fantastic cave, and a few kilometers from Episcopi, which used to be a diocese and where we still can visit the ruins of the ancient bishop church of Saint John, and the rest of its frescoes which could be saved.
