Description
ALKIONI STUDIOS are standing in a slightly elevated setting on the northern shores of Samos Island near Karlovasi in the area of Agios Nikolaos, just 10 meters from the sea enjoying panoramic views and cool sea breezes.
ALKIONI STUDIOS consist of one double level seafront building which offer spacious studios with private terraces or balconies, surrounded by flower and vegetable gardens, guests are welcome to taste the summer vegetable crop.
When you can tear yourself away from the balcony or the terraces with the views, it is just a short walk downhill to the nearest beach, which is rocky in parts and mostly shingle pebble with crystal clear waters. On the western side of the studios just a short walk downhill there is one of the islands best seafood al fresco restaurants.

Directions
The Karlovasi is the nearest port and Samos airport the island’s international gate.
There is easy access by taxi service to the studios.
If driving, follow the signs to Vathi or Samos Town.
4,5 kms from Karlovasi there is sign on the left “Fishermen'sTavern”, on the next street bend turn left.
Follow the narrow winding sealed street until reaching the t-junction by the sea.
Turn left, Alkioni Studios are only 50 m.

Attractions
Agios Nikolaos is a Chapel by the Limanaki (little harbour), the seaside of Kontakeika Village, that is quite a scenery. It has considerable arable land and the residents are mostly occupied in agriculture and mainly horticulture.
Nearby is the town of Karlovasi the second port of Samos, which was an appreciable commercial and industrial centre of tanneries with a lot of exports and wealth. Most prominent in the continuation of the economic growth of the area is the wine factory of EOSS that produces the world known “Sweet Wine of Samos".
Past the port there is a long pebble beach with crystal clean waters accessible by car or on foot from Karlovasi called Potami.
When visiting Potami Beach make sure to add a walk by the river up to the most famous waterfalls on the Island. The walk roughly 2 kms, will take you through a lovely forest and eventually ends at a small lake where you can swim and get to see the falls.
For the more fit and adventures there is a forest walking truck 6 kms along the steep rocky shores which leads to small and large Seitani. This is a protected area under the “Natura 2000” program, well known for the seal breeding grounds and the tranquillity of this area, access is only by sea or foot.
