Description

These delightful apartments are set right on the waterfront Ormos, and occupy a great position for watching life go by in Ormos harbour side. The sea views from the balconies are extraordinary. 

Ormos is a small fishing village of 300 local residents. Its harbour has traditional fishing boats, sailing boats and a few day cruiser boats to secluded beaches.

The close proximity to Ormos village and the beach are its most important assets. Three minute walk to all village amenities and one minute to the Ormos beach.

Surrounded by alfresco cafes, taverns and our own first class pizzeria with car-free walkway, makes it ideal for an evening scroll and heavenly for children.

Daily local fishermen bring in their fresh seafood catch and small crop growers bring their freshly cut vegetables just outside the studios available.

Attractions

South-West side of Samos is one of the most beautiful areas of the island.

Ormos Village is the sea side of Marathokampos found in the south-western side of Samos island, on the foot of the tall Kerkis mountain overlooking the deep blue Aegean sea. The sight is dominated by the tall mountain Kerkis towering above with its height of 1,443 m.

Ormos is a small graphic traditional port is embellished with traditional fish boats, where various excursion boats offering to visitors the opportunity to explore unspoilt beaches and small islets.

Half way up the mountain there is the Monastery of Evangelistria amongst a thick pine forest.

On the other side there is Pythagoras Cave, the refuge whilst the philosopher was on the run from Polycrates.

On the far west of the Island there is a large natural sanctuary under the “Natura 2000”, well known for the seal breeding grounds.

In distance of 30 km is found the island’s airport and 40 km is the capital of Samos, Vathi.
