SILENA APARTMENTS are standing in a slightly elevated setting on the western fringes of Kampos Village at the feet of mount Kerkis, this attractive cluster of a bungalow and apartments offers a quiet yet convenient location combined with lovely views of both of the mountain and the sea below.
SILENA APARTMENTS consists of an individual traditional country style (kalivi) bungalow and a double level building which nestles-in a beautiful courtyard with flower gardens. The main building comprises of four spacious apartments.
The shared fresh water swimming pool is located only two minutes walk from the apartments at the White Rock Apartments (owned by us) surrounded by a stone flagged terrace where parasols and sun loungers are freely provided. There is also a separate paddling pool for younger guests to swim and play.
If you wish to swim in the sea, is is just a short walk downhill to the nearest Aspres beach, which is rocky and white sand in parts. The main sandy beach of Votsalakia is approximately 5-10 minute walk from the accommodation.

Attractions
South-West side of Samos is one of the most beautiful areas of the island.
Kampos (Votsalakia area) of Marathokampos municipality is a calm area, with many natural beauties.
It has the longest small pebble and sandy beach (6 km) on Samos.
The sight is dominated by the tall mountain Kerkis towering above with its height of 1,443 m.
Half way up the mountain there is the Monastery of Evangelistria amongst a thick pine forest.
On the other side there is Pythagoras Cave, the refuge whilst the philosopher was on the run from Polycrates.
On the far west of the Island there is a large natural sanctuary under the “Natura 2000”, well known for the seal breeding grounds.
