GALINI BUNGALOWS & STUDIOS are spread on the hillside up from Kionia beach, offering magnficent sea views of the Aegean Sea and the Islands of Siros, Mykonos and Dilos.
Τhe surrounding area is covered with local shrubs and bushes and an array of wild bird fills-in with this quiet and peaceful environment. This is calm and relaxing location away from it all yet close to all amenities.
The balconies offer the nicest sunsets views and the ferry boat traffic below as they regularly transport holiday makers and pilgrims to one of Greece’s most popular Holy Church “The Evangelistria”.
GALINI STUDIOS & BUNGALOWS consists of several single and double level traditional Cycladic style buildings all facing the sea with beautiful flower gardens, trees and lighted pathways.
There are individual one bedroom bungalows for families, open plan design studios and rooms, for couples or individuals wishing for a relaxing holiday. A spacious cafe style veranda next to the reception with magnificent views serves breakfast and light snacks, coffees and refreshing drinks from early until late in the evening.
The long and sandy crystal clear Kionia beach is 10 minutes walk, where you will also find several cafes, restaurants and convenient stores. The archaeological site of Temple of Poseidon is also nearby.

Tinos Greece is full of lovely, picturesque mountainous and fishing villages, built close together on steep slopes surrounded by verdant vegetation, full of traditional stone houses, amazingly decorated by local craftsmen and surrounded by narrow alleys and arcades. These fishing villages have kept their authenticity and traditional Cycladic architecture.
Every visitor is amazed by the beauty and calm beaches of Tinos Greece. Long beaches with golden sand, pebble within little coves offer their crystalline waters and their deserted landscapes. A few of those beaches have sub beds, umbrellas; water sports facilities, accommodation, restaurants and snack bars.
Tinos is famous amongst Greeks for: the Church of Panagia Evangelistria. Our Lady of Tinos (also in Greek Megalochari tis Tinou or Panagia Evangelistria tis Tinou) is the major Marian shrine in Greece. It is located in the town of Tinos on the island of Tinos.
The complex is built around a miraculous icon which according to tradition was found after the Virgin appeared to St. Pelagia and designated to her the place where her icon was buried. The icon is widely believed to be the source of numerous miracles.
The icon was found on the very first days of the creation of the modern Greek State, henceforth Our Lady of Tinos was declared the patron saint of the Greek nation. Since then Tinos constitutes the major Christian pilgrimage in Greece.
The Monastery of Agia Triada or the Holy Trinity is located in the south east of Tinos near Gyria. The main church has a wood carved iconostasis from 1764 that displays some wonderful 18th Century icons. It is built in a beautiful, eye-catching location and is an important contribution to the title of “Holy Island” that Tinos has been awarded.
The island of Tinos is famous for the many intricately designed dovecotes found here. They are fortress like stone structures with two levels decorated with both geometric patterns including triangles and rhomboids and non-geometric patterns including cypress trees and variations of the sun. It is believed that these elaborate patterns are the reason why the pigeons are attracted to these dovecotes.
The Jesuit Catholic Monastery is located in Loutra, a small but beautiful village with a rich history. Monastery in Tinos is a striking 17th Century building and also houses an excellent folkloric museum displaying old manuscripts, maps as well as implements for making olive oil and wine.
Tinos encompasses many architectural and artistic treasures of folk art. One such example of popular art and technique is the many windmills that were built here, some of which can be still seen today. During the Venetian occupation, wheat was cultivated in large amounts on the island to feed a population that used to be thrice the size of what it is today.
