We had a dream...   We dreamt of a faraway land of breathtaking beauty, where we could watch each season come and go, and where stranger’s still had time to smile and say hello.

We also dreamt of an old style house with thick stone walls, a special place, which through the passage of time will be holiday home to many families.

We wanted to wake up each morning to the sounds of birds, and fall asleep at night beneath a galaxy of stars. We wanted to be surrounded by green shrubs, olive and pine trees and for the lucky few a glimpse of a nightingale in the early dawn.

We wanted a respite where people could find peace and contentment ...this is our dream and it has come true.

KASTRO (Greek for castle) VILLA Apartments comprise of two castles built on an elevated position overlooking the bay and dominating the hillside at the feet of the imposing Mount Kerkis. The villa apartments are very well appointed, featuring Byzantine design marble floors, wooden stairways and special kiparisi wooden-beamed ceilings. (kiparisi is an expensive local wood, traditionally used to build boat masts) 

The outdoor pool is the highlight; a stone-paved poolside offers guests pleasant sitting area with unforgettable sunsets and moon raises views. Guests who wish a total chill-out holiday, traditional home-cooked meals and drinks are offered at affordable prices.

If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of all nights will be charged.

Attractions

South-West side of Samos is one of the most beautiful areas of the island.

Kampos (Votsalakia area) of Marathokampos municipality is a calm area, with many natural beauties. 

It has the longest small pebble and sandy beach (6 km) on Samos.

The sight is dominated by the tall mountain Kerkis towering above with its height of 1,443 m.

Half way up the mountain there is the Monastery of Evangelistria amongst a thick pine forest.

On the other side there is Pythagoras Cave, the refuge whilst the philosopher was on the run from Polycrates.

On the far west of the Island there is a large natural sanctuary under the “Natura 2000”, well known for the seal breeding grounds.
