Description
Located at the edge of Balos beach next to a small gorge and surrounded by untouched natural habitat, it’s a real treat for those wishing for a quiet relaxing place. Rose beds and flowers gardens, small vegetable crops and citrus, olives and palm trees are amongst the lighted stone-paved paths.

It consists of a main double level building with eight studios and apartments and two bungalow style apartments.

The shingle pebble beach with the crystal clear waters is only 3 minutes walk, offering great swimming, sunbathing and unforgettable sunsets.

Balos Village is just 10 minutes walk along the sea side with four al fresco restaurants next to the sea.
Mrs. Katina is friendly and very helpful owner operator, she offers her small crop of home vegetables to her guests. On her regular BBQ nights guests can taste Greek island delicacies and her own home made wine.

Attractions
South-West side of Samos is one of the most beautiful areas of the island.
Balos is a small graphic traditional seaside of Koumeika Village which at the southern side of Samos island. The sight is dominated by the tall mountain Kerkis towering above with its height of 1,443 m overlooking Marathokampos Bay and the deep blue Aegean sea.
Half way up the mountain there is the Monastery of Evangelistria amongst a thick pine forest.
On the other side there is Pythagoras Cave, the refuge whilst the philosopher was on the run from Polycrates.
On the far west of the Island there is a large natural sanctuary under the “Natura 2000”, well known for the seal breeding grounds.
