VILLA KATINA Apartments, these delightful apartments are located at the most eastern side of Balos beach at Ormos of Koumeikon along the southern coast of Samos Island next to a small gorge and surrounded by untouched natural habitat.
There are beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, citrus, olives and palm trees amongst lighted stone-paved paths.
VILLA KATINA Apartments consist of one main double level building with eight studios and apartments and two bungalow style apartments, one with a seperate bedroom.
The shingle pebble Balos beach with the crystal clear waters is only 3 minutes walk, offering great swimming, sunbathing and some of the best sunset views on the island.
Balos Village is just 10 minutes walk along the sea side with four al fresco restaurants next to the beach.

Attractions
South-West side of Samos is one of the most beautiful areas of the island.
Balos is a small graphic traditional seaside of Koumeika Village which at the southern side of Samos island. The sight is dominated by the tall mountain Kerkis towering above with its height of 1,443 m overlooking Marathokampos Bay and the deep blue Aegean sea.
Half way up the mountain there is the Monastery of Evangelistria amongst a thick pine forest.
On the other side there is Pythagoras Cave, the refuge whilst the philosopher was on the run from Polycrates.
On the far west of the Island there is a large natural sanctuary under the “Natura 2000”, well known for the seal breeding grounds.
In distance of 28 km is found the island’s airport and 38 km is the capital of Samos, Vathi.
