Located only 13km away from Chania, the Villa Alexander offers easy access to the old Venetian harbor and the archaeological sites of ancient Minoan Kydonia.

But even if you decide to stay within the vicinity of your apartment, you can enjoy the beautiful beach of Kalathas with its picturesque little isle or visit the cozy nearby taverns and indulge in the traditional Cretan cuisine.

Attractions

Crete is the largest Greek island and the 5th largest in the Mediterranean Sea. It is here where the western couture was born and flourished. The numerous archeological findings of the Minoan era are certifying this.

West –Crete is shaped by its “Lefka Ori” mountain range, which consists of 58 peaks that extend over 2000m. This mountain landscape is dominated by innumerable gorges that reach the Libyan Sea. The most known is the “Samaria” gorge, that is also the longest and deepest in Europe.
