Black Rose Suites is made up of five luxurious rooms in impressive surroundings, offering anything a visitor to our island may desire.

The beautiful Greek island in the Aegean Sea known to the Greeks and the world over as Santorini, is officially called Thira, which was the ancient name given to the island from historical times. During antiquity the island was also known by several other names, such as Strongyli (the circular one) and Kallisti (the beautiful one). The name Santorini was bequeathed to the island in Venetian times. Santorini, Santa Irini, Saint Irene.

Our welcoming Black Rose Suites is located in Perivolos, in the south-east of Santorini, on its most famous 5 km-long beach, with an impressive, vast stretch of black sand and unparalleled opportunities for swimming, sea and other sports, entertainment, good local food, as well as for countless excursions and visits to all the sights on the island. Our name, Black Rose, is a direct reference to the volcanic origin of the island’s landscape and in particular to its exquisite beach with its warm, black, volcanic texture, whose touch fills you with volcanic – occasionally hot – energy. Buildings and utility facilities use earth, stone, wood and dried grass as raw materials and the result is totally compatible both with their impressive surroundings and geological origin, as well as with the island’s traditional way of life from the prehistoric era up to recent years, just a few decades before our time. The surrounding area is also decorated with the most representative examples of Mediterranean flora, dominated in number and beauty by agave plants and olive trees

From the moment you arrive until your departure Black Rose Suites offers you a range of amenities, facilities and services which we believe will meet your every need throughout your holidays.

You can park in the easily accessible car park available only for cars and motorbikes belonging to our clients, and after being welcomed at our round-the-clock Reception, you are taken by our bilingual staff to your delightful, air-conditioned room, which at first glance resembles a traditional island house.

The spacious, comfortable and welcoming patio around our large pool is available for relaxation, for having a drink, refreshments or a coffee. Also each of our suites has its own private pool.

Room service willingly serves you with whatever you want from a limited, but select menu (specific times each day). You can also take advantage, at an additional charge, of the transport we have available for you, to and from the airport, harbour and town. Communal areas and even your room provide fast Internet access for your laptop.

And last but not least, we are proud to be able to organize a perfect wedding ceremony or reception in a superb setting. Leave your holidays in our hands and they will be unforgettable.

For any additional service or facility you may need, we are always at your disposal to call a doctor or a specialised masseur, to help you hire a limousine or take part in a wine-tasting event in one of our associate’s delightful settings.

In Perivolos as in all the surrounding area, you can have fun, go for walks or shop at the stores, enjoy a meal or a drink at tavernas or bars near the sea or literally at the waves’ edge. Our helpful staff will also willingly recommend a restaurant or bar that reflects your personal tastes and choices. We can say without exaggerating that apart from being an endless beach, Perivolos offers a daytime continuation of Santorini’s nightlife.

Everything in Santorini is attractive and carefully made, yet the visitor can but try certain well-known dishes and delicacies, such as fried tomato croquettes and the famous fava beans, accompanied by excellent local wine.

50 metres from your room you have easy, direct access to our wonderful, long beach. It is an organized beach with wooden sun-loungers for relaxation and grass thatch umbrellas. It offers many sports, such as volleyball, beach bats, diving and other sea sports. The splendid, deep sea attracts visitors to swim, dive and play in the water.

Cancellation policy
No fee is charged for cancellation 21 days prior to confirmed arrival date. Any late cancellation results 50% charge of the entire reservation cost. Non-show or departure prior to the scheduled one results 100% fees of the entire booking.

Our guests may check-in at 15.00 local time.
Check-out policy
Our guests may check-out up to 12.00 midday. Late check-out is available at an agreed additional charge.

[Access]

Black Rose Suites is easily accessible from all major transportation centres on the island. The port of Athinio lies 5 kilometres away, the airport 10 kilometres and Fira, the capital of Santorini (Thira) also 10 kilometres away. You can travel to and from the Black Rose Suites by car, motorbike, bus or taxi. Those using hired or privately-owned boats can safely moor at Vlychada, 3 kilometres to the south-west of the Suites.

Nearby settlements are the coastal villages of Agios Georgios, Vlychada, Perissa and further inland, Emporio. It is worth visiting the Fossil Museum and ancient Thira (historic times) at Kamari, the archaeological site that was buried in volcanic ash, the prehistoric town at Akrotiri, the Archaeological Museum, vibrant Fira, the many cultural elements and the unique caldera, Oia where you can enjoy the world famous sunset, the Wine Museum and many other places which our helpful staff will be only too pleased to recommend.
