| The island of Aegina Saronicos bay has numerous nice beaches, important archaeological sites, recent monuments of the medieval times and of the 19th century, as well as several buildings of neoclassic style, all of which evidence the long history of the place. The old footpaths will bring you to interesting old monasteries and scenic coastal villages which warmly welcome you. Tourist facilities are pretty good and connections with Piraeus and the neighboring islands very frequent. |
