Klimaki beach, Hydra Island |
|
The beach of Klimaki is situated almost at the middle of the eastern coast of the island, just beside Nissiza and owes its name to the mountain Klimaki or Eros (the latter meaning “love” in Greek), that overlooks the whole area above the beach with the summer residencies. It is a pretty extended beach with pebbles, not organized at all. |

In case of emergence you have to return to the town of Hydra. Access from the town of Hydra is possible on donkeys’ back, if you prefer the land route, or by sea – taxis, by excursion boats, departing daily from the port of Hydra and by rented or private yacht or boat. |
