Megalo Kamini beach, Hydra Island |
|
The beach of Megalo Kamini (meaning “big kiln” in Greek) is in fact a small natural and very scenic port, full of fishing boats. The beach is situated between the port of Hydra and the beach of Vlyhos. The beach is not organized but you will find some alternatives for accommodation and you will enjoy nice dishes of fresh fish and local delicacies at the scenic coastal fish taverns. |

In case of emergence the corresponding services of the town of Hydra are available for you. Access to the beach is possible on foot, following the coastal road (it will take you some 20 minutes to arrive to the beach), or by a sea – taxi. |
