Nisiza beach, Hydra Island |
|
The beach of Nissiza is situated almost at the middle of the eastern coast of the island, within a cove below the mountain Klimakio, or Eros, overgrown with pine trees. Nissiza is found at the same place with the ancient port of the ancient small town of Episkope. In front of the beach it is also situated the homonymous skerry. Nissiza is a pebbly beach with nice sea, but not organized at all. |

In case of health problem you should address to the pharmacy, the local Medical Center or the Hospital of the town of Hydra. Access to the beach is possible on donkeys’ back, if you choose the land route, or by sea – taxis and excursion boats with regular daily service from the port of Hydra. It goes without saying that if you have a boat or yacht you can easily reach the beach. |
