| Poros is a lovely overgrown island with nice beaches and good tourist facilities, close to the coast of Peloponnesus. The scenic capital town of the island, the sanctuary of Poseidon, the Monastery of Zoodohos Pighi and the wonderful lemon tree wood at the coast of Peloponnesus across make it a pole of attraction both for holidays and short excursions. Access is very easy, as it has frequent connection with Piraeus and with the neighboring islands. |
