The Santa Maria diving base is based at the Santa Maria Camping lot, on the 1,5 Km wide beach bearing that appellation. It offers all diving services and programs as foreseen by YMCA, The teaching in English and German is no problem here. It also offers for certified divers, dives of great interest such as the cavern dive and the Wreck of paronaxia.

Note by the author: As I was sitting on a cold winter night to inscribe the text that had been given me by the Santa Maria Diving Base, the magic days and nights that we had spent last summer at the isle of Paros , at the Diving base of Kostas and Dimitris, came to mind. The souvenir of the enchanting nights on the beach bye the camp fires and the open air bar, the immemorable strolls to the clubs and pubs in the town of Naoussa all night long, and the endless golden beach of Santa Maria. I remember the camping lot full of happy youth from all corner of the world but particularly the unforgettable dives on the site of the Paros Shipwreck, one of the most impressive I have explored. (I hope Costas and Dimitris will forgive me for altering the text they have given me, but I am convinced that the frank opinion of a passioned and meticulous diver such as I, is far more reaching.
