Achladies, Skiathos Island |
Achladies (meaning “pear trees” in Greek), is an important, rapidly developing tourist resort extended along the homonymous sandy beach. It is situated some 5,5 kilometers southwestern to the town of Skiathos. The settlement counts only a few permanent residents living almost exclusively on tourism. |

The beach in front of the settlement is very well organized, offering full facilities for swimming, sunbathing and sea sports to swimmers. Many accommodation facilities are available in the resort. But the most interesting feature of it are certainly the nice taverns and the scenic ouzo bars at the sea front, where you will enjoy tasty dishes and gorgeous meals or just an aperitif, before or after swimming. |
